Commissioned piece for a Sci-Fi festival taking place in Sevres, (France) on December 13th, 2014. More info here: www.facebook.com/rencontresdel…

Original plate is St Jean-de-Luz beach (France as well, pays Basque) from my own stock.
Robot is painting from scratch.
The image had to be done to work either in landscape format but in portrait format as well for poster purposes. So that's why the characters are central. Behind the robot's back is the city's blason of Sevres that had to be included somehow in the illustration.
