Guys, I decided to make a major edit on this one with the planet texture of the biggest one. Hope you won't be mad at me...
------------------------ With this one, I tried to conceptualize what really I have in mind when I'm talking about a Matte Spacing piece. This is a pretty dark Matte painting, I know. It is kind of my mood of the moment but I think it really reflects a space sci-fi scene melted with a pretty futuristic New York city.
I hope you guys will enjoy it. Comments always welcome. All stocks are mine, except for the planet texture [link] I shall credit my step-brother as well for his pics from NY, all the rest is self-made in CS3 in 2D only.
Finally I yielded to your comments and removed a small planet in front. Hope you wont be mad at me for this minor change...lol!
i think you should make a compilation of your artwork into video...and put the Requiem of Dream as a background music. The awesomeness will be far greater.
Nice work. I think, the water level is just to even. When you think about how close the planets are, there must be some sort of gravitional disturbance (is this even a english phrase?), means: higher waves and thus some higher coast line. I love the lights! Tho I feel there should be some minor lights (for pedestrians) near the coastline. Keep up the good work.
Honestly when i say this pick i had to check your work out and i spent and hour-2 hours on the slideshow while listening to music. You have some serious talent man and Kepp this up!
Thank you so much! I'm very happy you went deep into my gallery and had a good time watching my art. That is quite a great reward for me and for any artist. Dont worry I'll keep up my hard work and continue to provide the best I can.
