Green hues, a rare color in nebulae, considering that it's not too easy to handle. Intermixed with other colors, it creates an interesting agglomeration of different parts of the spectrum. But let's start from the beginning.
The great thing about nebulae is certainly that one is not limited to distinct shapes but can rather let his creativity flow freely. This is also what I like about this piece, it looks rather spontaneous, not planned out to the smallest star. This gives it a very natural feel and is not so sterile. Plus on that.
Then, the colors themselves. Once again, it's hard to apply green hues without making it look artificial. This is, however, done successfully; the colors are well-chosen and not distracting.
The point of a critique is to actually point out some flaws as well, so I'll feel so free to do exactly that now. In my opinion, the stars could need a little work, especially the smaller ones which look a bit "noisy" (reference to the respective filter intended). A better solution would be to use a small hard round brush with a large spacing, scattering, and color dynamics so that you can place stars whereever you like while still keeping the randomness.
Second, and most importantly, the depth of the nebula itself. Some parts, especially the right one, are okay, but the primary problem is everything from the middle to the left. It looks a bit flat with just a few textures applied (those are, on its own, good, though). My suggestion would be to add one or two dust-layers on top to give it that 3D-feeling.
There is really not that much to criticize. Overall, it's a good piece with just minor flaws here and there but these small details can make the difference between a good and an awesome piece. I'm sure that, if you want, you can create fantastic space-scenes; which I am eagerly waiting for. Keep it up!
